Enjoy a great deal while checking out the best animation, CG art and visual effects of 2010. The screenings were juried by a diverse group of industry professionals, selected from hundreds of international submissions, and reflect the best submitted, cutting-edge work of the year. This eell-respected, annual show, known for many years as SIGGRAPH's Electronic Theater is now called the Computer Animation Festival (CAF). Location and Transportation: PCC Cascade Campus, Moriarty Arts and Humanities Building,

downtown Portland and there is parking available across the street in the PCC parking lot

Registration and Amenities: This and other Cascade ACM SIGGRAPH meetings are free to Cascade Chapter members. Nonmembers will need to pay a $5.00 admission fee at the door. Annual local membership can be purchased at the door for $25.00 a year for professionals and $18.00 for students. Price for membership will be increasing on January 1, 2011 to reflect the increased benefits of new Associate Membership with ACM SIGGRAPH. We accept cash or checks, but currently not credit cards at the door. Online payments through cascde.siggraph.org will be one of the new benefits coming in 2011.

For this event, prepayment will be available the week of Nov. 1, 2010, at eventbrite. We will send an announcement when that is available, at least a week in advance of the event. "The Production Pipeline"

Please join us and contribute to the planning for Cascade SIGGRAPH's
program line-up for the 2010-2011 at our annual planning and brainstorming session.
The 2011 event season will focus on ‘The Production Pipeline’ as we follow the idea from
conception to release. The planning meeting will focus on which events will have the
most impact to the local community and what local companies will best be served by the event
cycle. We will also be looking for presenters and ideas for presenters.
When: Thursday. October 28th, from 7:00 - 7:30 Introductions,
7:30 – 9:00 Planning/Brainstorming – call for presenters.
