About The Show

The collection of 37 shorts were selected from over 600 submissions and juried at the recent International SIGGRAPH conference. The show takes us on a remarkable journey that combines trends in art and science with the best computer graphics depicting comedy, drama, romance, action, adventure, fantasy, science fiction and science fact. Location and Registration

The night will start with registration and pizza for attendees in the lobby of the PCC Cascade Moriarty Arts and Humanities Building (http://www.pcc.edu/pcc/dma/cascademap.htm) at 6 p.m., then chapter announcements and the show at 6:30 p.m.

 

Those wishing to attend are asked to RSVP to cascadesiggraph@gmail.com for planning purposes. Volunteers are needed. If you can help, please call Demetra Gilmore Arnett by midnight on Tuesday September 19, at 503.367.1522 or include it in your RSVP.

 

This and other Cascade ACM SIGGRAPH meetings are free to Cascade Chapter members. Nonmembers will need to pay a $5.00 admission fee at the door. Annual local membership can be purchased at the door for $25.00 ($18.00 for students). Light appetizers will be available to attendees. Parking and Directions
The campus is close-in to downtown Portland and there is ample parking across the street in the PCC parking lot for a fee. However, those that RSVP by the deadline will be emailed a free e-parking pass that can be printed once. For directions, visit www.pcc.edu/about/locations/cascade/.
